Mom burnout is a term that describes the mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion that can result from the excessive stress and multiple demands of motherhood. This condition can negatively impact a mother's health, happiness, and effectiveness in her role.
Many times, mothers find it difficult to ask for help or admit that they cannot cope on their own, which can make the situation worse.

Causes of Burnout in Moms:

  • Excessive Demands : The constant need for care and attention from children, combined with daily family and work obligations.
  • Lack of Support : The feeling that there is not enough help or understanding from a partner, family, or community.
  • Loss of Personal Time and Space : The constant demand for attention and time from the family can limit the mother's personal time for self-care and relaxation.
  • Social and Cultural Expectations : Pressures to be a "perfect mother" and meet high standards can be a cause and cause stress.
  • Recognition and Appreciation : Lack of recognition and appreciation for the effort and hard work required for motherhood and managing a home can lead to feelings of worthlessness and frustration.
  • Guilt : The internal conflicts and guilt that a mother may feel when she feels inadequate in all her roles or when she has to prioritize something else over caring for her children.

Coping Strategies:

  1. Self-care : Set aside time for your personal care and needs. Exercise, a healthy diet, relaxation activities, and adequate sleep are vital.
  2. Ask for Support : Don't hesitate to ask for help from your partner, family, friends, or even professionals.
  3. Set Realistic Goals : Accept that it is not possible to do everything perfectly. Set realistic goals and priorities.
  4. Community and Companionship : Find or create a community of other mothers with whom you can share experiences, concerns, and coping strategies.

This is how I managed to create a group of moms and we all work together online every day for our personal and financial development.
